How to measure your inseam
One minute and a tape measure. This number matters more than your height.
- Stand straight, barefoot, feet slightly apart.
- Hold the tape at your crotch and run it down the inside of your leg.
- Stop at your ankle bone. That number is your inseam.
- Lay them flat and smooth out the legs.
- Measure from the crotch seam down the inside leg.
- Stop at the hem.

I don’t know if this is the case because I ordered a plus size, but I wanted to point out that these fit more like a wide leg than a bootcut. There is little taper through the lower thigh and the knee area. They’re comfortable enough, but they just don’t work as well with the shoes that I wear most of the time and I thought I would update for others who might be looking for a true bootcut. I’m attaching photos that show the Rachel laying on top of the Erica and if you look closely, you can see the difference in the way the legs are shaped.
