Welcome to Ava Lane Boutique!!! We are a family-owned business located in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Founded and creatively directed by Laura DeGrendel, ALB brings you a timeless collection of affordable clothing and accessories for women of all ages, shapes, and sizes.
We offer tons of new products daily! Each piece is carefully selected by Laura and is only available in a limited quantity and for a limited time.
HOW WE STARTED
In 2016, after 13 years as an elementary school teacher in Grand Blanc, Michigan, Laura wanted to try something new during her summer break to earn extra money for her family. With a natural eye for fashion and style, she decided to sign an exclusive agreement with a clothing wholesaler to purchase their brand of women’s clothing with the intent to sell the clothing to her local network of friends, family, and colleagues.
Word of Laura’s fashionable clothing at great prices quickly spread. Within the first few weeks of inception, she and her husband, Chuck, found themselves selling their dining room table on craigslist to make room for more clothing.
After three years of selling only one clothing brand, Laura decided it was time to expand. She started flying across the country to build relationships with other independent clothing, jewelry, and shoe manufacturers throughout the USA.
On April 9th, 2019, named after the street Laura and her family live on, Ava Lane Boutique was officially formed. Laura chose this name because she wants all her customers to feel like they are shopping with family.
ALB currently has over 25 employees, the vast majority of which are female. As a 100% woman owned business, Laura is proud to give back and empower other women wherever possible.
