Cookie Policy
Last Updated: May 16, 2026
1. About This Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Ava Lane Boutique ("ALB," "we," "us," or "our") and our service providers and advertising partners use cookies, pixels, software development kits (SDKs), web beacons, session-replay technologies, server-to-server data transmissions, and similar technologies (collectively, "Tracking Technologies") when you visit avalaneboutique.com (the "Site") or otherwise use our Services.
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect Personal Information and describes the privacy rights that may be available to you.
2. What Are Tracking Technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow the website to recognize your device and remember information about your visit, such as items in your cart, login state, language preferences, or pages viewed. Cookies may be set by the website you are visiting, known as first-party cookies, or by third parties whose technology is used on the website, known as third-party cookies.
Pixels and web beacons are small pieces of code or images embedded on a webpage or in an email that allow us or our partners to record certain actions, such as page views, product views, add-to-cart events, purchases, email opens, or link clicks.
Software Development Kits (SDKs) are pieces of code provided by third parties that may be integrated into our Services to enable certain functionality, such as analytics, advertising, customer support, or app functionality.
Session-replay technologies help us understand how visitors navigate and interact with our Site, such as pages viewed, scrolling activity, clicks, navigation paths, and other interaction events. These tools help us diagnose user-experience issues and improve Site functionality. Session-replay technologies are configured not to intentionally collect payment card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive form-field contents.
Server-to-server data transmissions allow certain advertising, analytics, transaction, and engagement signals to be transmitted from our systems or our service providers' systems to third-party platforms, rather than directly from your browser. These transmissions may be used for purposes such as purchase attribution, fraud prevention, analytics, advertising measurement, and email or SMS functionality, subject to applicable privacy choices and opt-out rights.
3. Categories of Tracking Technologies We Use
We categorize Tracking Technologies according to their purpose:
Strictly Necessary
These technologies are required to operate the Site, process transactions, prevent fraud, and provide core functionality, such as remembering items in your cart, maintaining checkout state, and supporting account security. Strictly necessary technologies cannot be disabled through our cookie tools.
Functional
These technologies enable enhanced functionality and personalization, such as displaying reviews, processing returns, supporting customer service tools, and remembering user preferences. If disabled, some Site features may not work as intended.
Analytics
These technologies help us understand how visitors interact with the Site so we can measure performance, diagnose issues, and improve the customer experience.
Advertising and Targeting
These technologies are used to deliver advertisements that may be relevant to you on third-party platforms, measure the effectiveness of our advertising, build and refine audiences, and support cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Server-Side Technologies
Some Tracking Technologies listed above may operate in whole or in part server-side. This means certain advertising, analytics, transaction-related, or engagement signals may be transmitted from our systems or our service providers' systems to third-party platforms rather than directly from your browser.
These transmissions may be used for purposes such as purchase attribution, fraud prevention, analytics, advertising measurement, customer support, and email or SMS functionality. Where required by law, server-side transmissions are subject to applicable privacy choices, consent settings, and opt-out rights.
6. Session Replay
We may use session-replay technology, such as Microsoft Clarity, to help us understand how visitors navigate and interact with our Site, diagnose user-experience issues, and improve Site functionality. These tools may record interaction data such as pages viewed, scrolling activity, clicks, navigation paths, and other interaction events.
Session-replay technologies are configured not to intentionally collect payment card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive form-field contents. Session-replay information may be stored by our service provider and accessed by authorized ALB personnel for legitimate business purposes.
You may opt out of session-replay technologies through the cookie preferences described in Section 7 below.
