How to measure your inseam
One minute and a tape measure. This number matters more than your height.
- Stand straight, barefoot, feet slightly apart.
- Hold the tape at your crotch and run it down the inside of your leg.
- Stop at your ankle bone. That number is your inseam.
- Lay them flat and smooth out the legs.
- Measure from the crotch seam down the inside leg.
- Stop at the hem.

Which inseam should I choose for my height?
The Short 29" typically fits 5'4" and under, the Regular 32" typically fits 5'5" to 5'8", and the Long 35" typically fits 5'9" and up. Your own inseam matters most, so measure from your crotch to your ankle bone. Laura, our founder, is 5'2" with a 27.5" inseam and wears the Short 29".
Are the Leah jeans true to size?
Yes. They are true to size with medium stretch, so most women wear their usual department store size. If you wear a 26 in Levi's, choose a 26 in the Leah. If you wear a 5 in Judy Blue, choose a 7 in the Leah.
What if I'm between sizes?
Most women, especially sizes 0 to 15, should size down for a more fitted but still comfortable look. Curvy sizes 14W to 24W can size down too. They will be a bit more fitted.
Will I need to hem the Leah?
Everyone is built a little differently, so measure first. Your inseam runs from your crotch to your ankle bone. Laura measures 27.5" and wears the Short 29". Many women like a length a little longer than their measurement, especially with shoes. The Leah has a raw released hem, so it has a relaxed finish.
Are the Leah jeans good for petite and tall women?
Yes. The Leah comes in three inseams: Short 29", Regular 32" and Long 35". Petite women can choose the Short and tall women can choose the Long.
Do the Leah jeans have tummy control?
Yes. A built in hip to hip panel smooths and supports your midsection without feeling restrictive.
What makes the Leah different from other wide leg jeans?
A subtle contrast side panel adds a modern touch and lengthens your line, the ultra stretch denim keeps its shape, and the medium wash with soft fading and light distressing gives it an easy, broken in look. The raw released hem finishes it off.

I just received these in the mail, and tried them on for size. As a plus size tall girl, at 6'2", these are the jeans that I have been looking for. The Extra length, the fit with a wider leg with out making me look like an oompa loompa... chefs kiss, and I dont say that much about jeans. There is some stretch up top, but not alot so size your regular size

These jeans are my new go-to faves. They hug your body in all the right ways and are stretchy and comfortable. The lighter denim down the sides is subtle sassy and adorable! The raw hem gives them a bit of a boho feel, but they could easily be dressed up a little. Very versatile jeans! I am 5'2, about 95 lbs and the 23/00 fits perfectly. I have 3 pairs of Ava Lane jeans and every time I wear them I get compliments.

Too small
I originally ordered a size 9 32" length, they went past my feet. I ordered the 32" because that was the length of my KanCans that I wear with my cowboy boots. So I had to return for a 29" which fits much better. 30" would have been ideal for my cowboy boots, but this will have to do. This is my first pair of wide leg fit jeans. I am iffy/nervous to wear them because I feel I look short and frumpy in them, I am not long legged nor am I short and I have a short torso. I am going to give them a try though and hope for the better results. They are very comfy and uniquely cute!
I had to send back my 32" pair, using the prepaid return label. I don't think I have ever had an easier return in my life. From the moment that I dropped them off at the post office and the label was scanned, I was notified of every move they and the new jeans made. The whole process took approximately 9 days from shipping the original order and getting the new pair. WOW! Very Impressive! I look forward to ordering again.

OMG, the best looking jeans i have EVER purchased. I normally wear an 8 i got a 7/28, they fit snug but that is ok. I could have easily purchased a 9. I am super duper happy with my purchase. Woww these fit sooo good. I am 5' 6 " and weigh 215. I got the 16W and im so impressed! They are adorable! I got the 29' inseam. These are the best looking jeans with a perfect amount of stretch! Also the stripe down the legs is so slimming. I feel great in these!

I love these jeans!!! They are beautiful quality. The fabric is a nice heavier denim. The different color side panel denim gives these jeans an edgy look. I worn them a few times and every time I do, I get lots of compliments. I'm 5'10" tall at 130 lb with 30" waist and 36" hips as a reference . I got size 27/5 in the longer length.I so appreciate that they offer longer length! I can wear my 2" or my 3" heals and they're still long enough.They fit perfectly and are very comfortable.
