Hello from Michigan!!! Thank you so much for shopping with Ava Lane Boutique! We are committed to 100% customer satisfaction, so we’ve tried our best to make our return policy super customer friendly!

REFUNDS & STORE CREDITS:

Customers have the option of having their refund issued to their original form of payment or issued as a store credit. We prefer store credits simply because credit card processing fees are non-refundable to us (and as a small business, they get expensive), but the choice is yours.  :)

RETURNS & CANCELATIONS:

Return shipments must be postmarked within 14 days from when they were delivered (or returned within 14 days from fulfillment date for local pickup customers). Return requests outside of the 14-day window will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Our goal is to make our customers happy, but please understand that we cannot make policy exceptions for every situation.

Try on your clothing before removing the tags :)

Similar to making a return to any clothing store, please be sure the item has all the original tags attached and that it has never been used or washed. If we notice any odors, such as perfume or smoke, or if we see any blemishes, dirt, or pet fur, we will have to send it back to you, at your cost. All our products are brand new and in perfect condition when we ship them. We need them returned in the same condition. But our customers are the best, so we know that won’t be an issue!  :)

FINAL SALE / NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS:

Final sale items are ineligible for return, refund, or cancelation.

Items purchased with prices that end in .97, and items marked "Final Sale" are considered final sale.

All shipping fees are non-refundable.

HOW TO MAKE A RETURN:

The process to return your order will vary depending on how you placed your order - website, mobile app, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok.

Please note that we process returns manually. Please allow 5-7 business days to process your return after we receive it (but we usually get to them quickly). You will want to keep your return tracking for your records as we are not responsible for return packages if they get lost during transit.

WEBSITE, FACEBOOK & INSTAGRAM PURCHASES:

All purchases made via our website, Facebook or Instagram must be returned using one of the following two (2) options:

A. Obtain a return label for $9.97:

  1. Log in to your ALB account via the account icon in the top right corner of our website.
  2. Select the order that you want to submit the return for.
  3. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
  4. Select a return reason and add a note for the store (if applicable).
  5. Click "Submit request".
  6. The $9.97 return label fee will be deducted from your return once your return has been processed.

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label. After the product is received and the return processed, you receive a refund.

  1. B. Ship Independently:
  2. You may choose to return the item(s) using any postal service of your choice. We strongly suggest keeping a record of the return tracking number for delivery reference.
  3. Please complete the Google Form located HERE - and include it in your return package for processing. This will help us identify your order.

MOBILE APP PURCHASES:

All purchases made via our mobile app must be returned using one of the following two options:

A. Obtain a return label for $9.97:

  1. Use this LINK and follow the instructions.
  2. The $9.97 return label fee will be deducted from your return once your return has been processed.

or...

B. Ship Independently:

  1. You may choose to return the item(s) using any postal service of your choice. We strongly suggest keeping a record of the return tracking number for delivery reference.
  2. Please include the Google Form located HERE - in your return package for processing. This will help us identify your order.

TIKTOK SHOP PURCHASES:

All purchases made via our TikTok Shop must be returned through the TikTok Shop platform using the following process:

  1. Go to your profile on TikTok Shop and access “My Orders”.
  2. Select the order you would like to return and the reason for doing so.
  3. Select your preferred return method and submit the return.
  4. You will receive a pre-paid shipping label.
  5. Use the shipping label to send the time back to us.

After following these steps, allow 5-7 business days for TikTok to complete the return to process.
